Check Power Steering Level: 1999 Saab 9-5 3.0L V6 Turbo Sedan

The video above shows you the steps needed to check the power steering fluid level in your 1999 Saab 9-5. Checking the power steering fluid level in your 9-5 is relatively easy and should be done once a month or if you are experienced difficulty turning the wheel or steering your 9-5. Your 9-5 should be parked on a level surface and your 3.0 liter engine should be cold to the touch. If the power steering fluid level in your 9-5 is low, fill it up to the maximum line with power steering fluid and check it again in a week to determine if you have a leak. The power steering fluid reservoir will typically have a symbol of a steering wheel on the cap. Likewise, if your 9-5 has electric power steering, you may see a steering wheel picture with an explanation point next to it on your dashboard to indicate power steering problems.
