Privacy and personal data notice
Speedcult Club (SCC, 驭速Club) is operated by 驭速Club俱乐部 (Taiwan). This notice explains the handling of personal data on speedcult.club and www.speedcult.club. The version and effective date are recorded on this page.
Public posts and private account information serve different purposes. Do not publish verification codes, identity documents, full vehicle identification numbers, home addresses or other people's contact details in posts or media. Accepting this notice does not subscribe you to marketing or waive your personal data rights.
1. Information and purposes
- Accounts and security: your email, display name, username, one-way password verifier, email verification records, sessions and security activity. These support account creation, authentication, recovery and abuse prevention. Verification codes use email. We do not collect phone numbers or offer phone registration, sign-in or binding.
- Community and vehicles: the avatar, biography, region and vehicle records you choose to provide, together with posts, comments, replies, saved items, follows and likes. We use these for the community, information search and garage features you choose. Public visibility depends on the relevant page and available settings.
- Transactions and support: only when you use those features, recipient names, addresses, contact emails, orders, payment and refund status, merchant information, support tickets and evidence you submit. These support fulfilment, after-sales service, reconciliation, complaints and required records. Shipping addresses do not require a phone number; merchants provide a contact email. Payment authentication is handled by the actual payment provider. Do not send payment passwords or complete card details in posts or tickets.
- Access and operational security: request times and paths, IP addresses, browser or device information, error and security logs, and necessary abuse-prevention identifiers. These support page delivery, sessions, fault diagnosis, rate limiting, attack prevention and security auditing.
- Choices and consent: the policy versions you accept, acceptance times, language, theme and notification preferences. These preserve your choices and actual consent. Marketing requires a separate choice and is not selected by default.
Information comes primarily from what you provide, records produced when you use services, and necessary results from verification, payment or delivery services you choose. We process it as necessary to supply requested services, carry out contractual or similar relationships, meet legal obligations, or rely on appropriate consent. A new purpose outside the original scope needs an applicable legal basis and, where required, further notice and consent.
2. Your choices
An account is normally unnecessary for browsing public content. Registration requires a verifiable contact and the necessary account information identified on the form; without them we cannot complete registration or verification. Optional profile details, vehicle records and marketing are not conditions for basic account access. Missing information necessary for an order or support request may prevent completion of that particular service.
Provide only relevant information that you are entitled to provide. Ordinary registration does not require identity documents, health information or precise live location. If a particular identity check is necessary, its purpose, scope and submission method should be explained separately; you should not have to publish such information publicly.
3. Recipients
Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it and providers of necessary services, including hosting, security and email delivery, with appropriate limits and safeguards.
- Cloudflare: we use network delivery, caching, protection and Turnstile verification. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, requests, browser information and verification signals. Verification detects abuse; it does not subscribe you to our marketing. See the Cloudflare Turnstile privacy notice.
- Tencent Cloud email: verification mail uses Tencent Cloud SES in the Hong Kong region. Necessary information includes the recipient address, verification message and delivery records. noreply@speedcult.club is an outgoing address, not a complaints inbox.
- Transaction participants: when a transaction feature is actually available and you use it, the seller and payment or delivery providers receive the information necessary for that transaction, support or legal obligations. The transaction page identifies the relevant parties.
- Public content and external media: visitors, search engines and recipients of shared links can see public posts and comments. Playing externally sourced videos, including CarCareKiosk media, or following external links connects your browser to the provider, which receives necessary connection information and applies its own privacy notice.
- Legal disclosures: necessary information may be provided to competent authorities or relevant professionals under valid legal requirements, to lawfully protect rights, or to address an actual safety risk. A third party's request alone does not authorize disclosure of private account information.
We do not sell private account data or treat marketing consent as permission for unrelated third parties to market independently.
4. Locations and methods
Data is used through the website, databases, controlled files, email and necessary manual handling. Administration involves Taiwan. Hosting, backups, Cloudflare's global network and email delivery involve cross-border processing, including Tencent SES's Hong Kong region and Cloudflare processing in the United States and other service locations. Connections also depend on your location and external services. Storage and processing are not guaranteed to remain solely within Taiwan.
We should limit access and transfers to what the service needs and comply with applicable cross-border requirements. Services introducing different purposes or materially different processing scopes require updated notice and, where necessary, renewed consent.
5. Cookies, browser storage and verification
The website uses necessary session, security and preference records. Browser storage can remember themes, language or a selected vehicle. Cloudflare may use security records needed for its services. Clearing or limiting these through your browser may sign you out, require a fresh verification or remove saved display preferences.
This notice is not blanket consent to undisclosed advertising tracking. Any future non-essential analytics or advertising that requires a choice by law must provide the appropriate notice and choice.
6. Retention and account closure
We retain identifiable information only for as long as necessary for chosen services, security, legal obligations or genuine disputes, and should review that need periodically. When the purpose ends and there is no legal or other justified need to retain it, we should delete it, stop its use or apply appropriate de-identification.
Verification codes work only for the short validity period stated in the message; expiry does not immediately remove necessary delivery or abuse-prevention logs. Account information is generally retained during the account relationship and necessary subsequent handling. Orders, accounting, consent, security audit records and dispute evidence may remain after closure for actual legal obligations or dispute needs, but not for continued marketing.
Account closure revokes sessions, clears authentication credentials and handles personal information and content visibility under the relevant feature rules. It does not immediately erase every transaction, content revision or backup from all storage. Backups have restricted access, and confirmed deletion or cessation requests should continue to be respected after a service restore. We should explain the basis and scope of any information that cannot be deleted.
7. Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, inspection, copies, correction or completion, cessation of collection, processing or use, and deletion. This notice does not require you to waive those rights.
Signed-in users can review export or closure requests through Privacy and account requests, start a request in Account settings, or submit other requests through Support tickets. People who cannot sign in or have not registered can also use the contact address below. We may verify identity proportionately to the request's risk to avoid disclosing data to another person.
We respond within applicable legal deadlines. An extension or refusal should include the reason and available remedies. Refusing marketing is free and does not prevent verification codes, order updates or necessary security notices. You may contact us again, complain to a competent authority or seek lawful remedies.
8. Security and minors
We use encrypted transport, password verification protection, access controls and appropriate audits to reduce risk. If an incident occurs, we should investigate, remedy and notify as required by the law actually applicable. No system can guarantee zero risk. Protect your password and verification codes and report suspected compromise promptly.
Minors should obtain any legally required guardian consent under the User Agreement. A guardian who believes a minor has improperly supplied information can contact us; we should handle the request lawfully after reasonable verification.
9. Changes and contact
The policy page retains versions and effective dates. Material changes to purposes or rights should be explained clearly. Where renewed consent is necessary, you make a new choice; earlier acceptance records are not rewritten.
